When you were a kid, didn't it just seem like forever until your birthday? And then you have to WAAAIT for summer vacation and then school began and ya had to WWAAAIT for Halloween or Christmas. Now it just seems like BIRTHDAY, BIRTHDAY, BIRTHDAY...
Just two years ago, I'd celebrate my birthday with friends, dancing until four in the morning, then having breakfast with the Air Force at Denny's before going home. Erik has forbidden me from associating with those friends anymore.
