Can you imagine being traded to another team? For example, in Radio, buying a house is the Kiss of Death, because as soon as you get comfortable, new owners may come in and fire everybody. I guess when you play basketball, you always know it could happen. Kind of like joining the Guard. Heck, what's one weekend a month and two weeks a year? Well, it could be two years in Iraq!
Malik Rose was crying on the news last night. He is now going to be a Knick (What's a Knick???). He has to leave San Antonio. And that's probably the cruelest part of it.

Malik is a great BB player....BUT....he's been in and out of Coach Pop's rotation for the last two years. Don't know if signing that big contract made him play with a little less urgency, but since he's originally from Philly, he's coming back to the round-about area that he grew up in. NY is only a bus ride away from Philly, ya know.
And it's a Knickerbocker - a descendant of the Dutch settlers of NY, or an inhabitant/native of NY.. But I digress.
I'd be crying too if I was traded from a team that had a very good shot of winning the league championship to that train wreck in New York.
