Yesterday, someone I know turned to me and said, "I'm going to do (name of multi-marketing scheme X)," so she isn't really worried about her job. Have I heard of it?

"Oh no," says I, "Sweet baby, who is your upline? Did you already pay your $199?"

No benefits, no structure, and the only folks who'll get rich are the ones who started it. X is just like Y and Z, and where I come from, getting rich quick just doesn't happen.
