I do hope your Christmas has a little touch of Eternity in among the rush and pitter patter and all. It always seems such a mixing of this world and the next - but that after all is the idea!

When I was a freshman in college, I was able to withstand powerwalks in subzero temps and no coat. Today, I am unable to powerwalk and when the temperature guage in my truck shows below 60, I wrap up in layers and wool.
My nails need a fill. Andes Mints taste like Christmas. Dark chocolate and spinach kill cancer. Red poinsettias are better. My baby brother is coming to see me in 11 measly days. And in 19 measly days, I will be an old, married woman.

Last night we went a-wassailing among the leaves so green! And tomorrow is my bachelorette party! And today the wind is genuinely cold!
